Santa came a little early an I got some DIY bed liner from Ebay, and since I work at a school with a pretty nice paint booth an no school for a couple weeks, this seemed like a good time to try this new spray in liner..Now I can't tell ya how it holds up yet an the instructions say 5 full days to fully cure, but I can say this is the messiest, stickiest stuff I EVER USED.bedpro1_zpsm2qyql7v_3436368f8b363f4d158c2251dfefab48ef645352.jpg It's advertised as basically a DIY Linex but it is a 4 part product then after it's mixed you need to pour it back in the little reducer can so that the spray gun will screw on.bedpro2_zpswmi05kyj_28095c81c276f30ccda199b28397881e68dfc901.jpg

I've used Herculiner before an it's pretty good but I do believe this will be better..I started by sanding the bed an fixed a rust hole that developed under the plastic bed liner, then I cleaned the the bed with laquaer thinner bed1_zpsfkjovbfc_83eb9c5a629e409e36edcb881f50a17b5e1a7cd1.jpgbed2_zpsee7cxb12_1296c21e59ce5c41326c226e7820d1979d9494df.jpg..The instructions says to hose the bed out an just "rough"it up but I've done this with other liners enough to know that even after it's dryer the high pressure that this stuff is sprayed at will always find a little water some where

I think the prep work for this kind of stuff is 90 percent of the battle..Making sure everything is taped off that needs taped off is a big part of this.bed3_zpsh9xrluif_ae51a4379cec19a0763a9ed16c8d94cf8c034b47.jpg Then it's time to try this messy stuff.bed5_zpsf4cxiajk_bc64079aaf955d2fd398695aea534ca54bc4595e.jpgbed4_zpso3k1lvo0_405e00092647d00ce1db79fcd1a87c6932f3bcb3.jpgbed8_zpsgntzp5mn_c586b2183899d6a24fd5c8fbc20441594f988f7b.jpgbed6_zpsis4e2w9h_ce7e248120ea8120766aaf034c5bd829d7133236.jpg

As of now it's still sitting in the shop,I'll check in on it Monday, keeping my fingers crossed that it hardened up like it's supposed to..I had a little Toyota badge I put on the front of the bed an coated over it,just to see what it would like. This was a little nerve racking cause the instructions said don't make it too thick but I really don't know how thick it is and I have maybe a quart left out of a gallon(which i'm sure won't keep mixed)
