4X4 V6 Long bed Auto, did they ever make such a truck? If not is it possible to convert a manual to an automatic?

    Thanks

1st gen? Not quite sure what you're asking... The 1st gen "long bed" is used on everything except the double cabs, 6ft bed I believe. If that's what you are meaning then yes there are tons of 3.4 auto's 4x4's out there. Probably more then manuals.
It is always possible to convert from manual to auto or vise versa, but not worth it if they made what you want from the factory.

aka say you own a manual and want an auto, it would be better to sell it and buy what you want then convert it. At least for most people.

Clarification, Pre 1st gen they made a regular cab long bed. I think it was a 7ft bed, see below. Did they make a first gen like this? I have seen several pre-1st gen 4x4 but they have all been manuals trans.

    Thanks

There's no 7ft bed on any 1st gen Tacoma.

There was also no double cab that came with a regular 6ft bed from factory, however it's possible to swap one on.

Double cabs never came in a manual, again however, it is possible to swap.
