wiper switch question

    Hey everyone--first time poster
    After reading many threads I purchased a
    $146 84652-02710 Toyota W/Wiper Switch - 84652-02710
    84652-02710 switch
    went in easy but turning the intermittent part does nothing--I now have 2 fast speeds and 1 really fast speed. Truck is a 2015 Access cab base 2.7L---think that's what it is called, has steering wheel radio and phone controls--AC, power windows but not much else
    What went wrong?

    several people said they had good results with the 02710 in a 2015
    looks like I may have a barely used switch for sale

    I just ordered the #
    $146 84652-02710 Toyota W/Wiper Switch - 84652-02710
    84652-02710 switch and I have the same truck. According to everything I have read, the switch is all that is needed for intermittent wipers. I'm concerned now. Might be another "barely used switch for sale". Are you sure all the connectors are making good contact?

    I used that switch in my 2015 and it works like it should. Does adjusting the speed on the intermittent setting change the speed at all?

    sleep fixes everything--do not know why but they did not work last night
    This morning it also did not work but when I turned them on with the delay at the bottom
    it started working. Merry Christmas to me--and to you all also
