    Hello new Tacoma owner here. My truck has the factory tonneau cover and when it rained last night the deck was pretty wet. The owners manual says it's not waterproof but I was wondering if anyone has this issue. FYI fitment is perfect.

    Check the seals between the sides and the panel against the cab. They may have forgot to put them in.

    Also make sure everything is snapped down really tight.

    Sometimes the bed cleats will prevent a good closure.

    Yes there was 1/8" gap in the corner of the lip similar to whats in your pic. I pressed it down now it's flush. Is that the seal your talking about?

    Ok thanks. I even torqued the bolt to 20ft lb per the manual. I'll check next rainstorm, which may be awhile here in Vegas lol.
