Me neither but I changed my iridiums after 70k and the gap was not changed, they weren't bad at all.

Don't forget the frame inspection you will be getting till 2022, so you may add a new frame to your parts list too.

I found this review when buying my spark plugs on Amazon and even made a thread on TW, with a poll too. Here => https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...he-denso-sk20hr11-iridium-spark-plugs.461809/

Do you believe this review??

5.0 out of 5 starsbest plugs ever
By kenny guerra on September 17, 2016
I purchased a 2006 Toyota Tacoma new with 6 miles on it at time of purchase. I recently changed the plugs because they started fouling out. in 10 years I put 433,651 miles on my truck. that's right those plugs ran for 433,651 miles. the best dam plugs I have ever used. Toyota uses these plugs for a reason ( THEY LAST )

Anti-sieze will prevent that from happening. I use it for my spark plugs as well as a lot of the undercarriage bolts.

Holy shit those are blown plugs. Wonder what his gas mileage was before and after. Also makes me question what his definition of "last" is.

This guy is so utterly wrong and uninformed. These plugs did not "last" 433,000 miles. Look at how eroded the ground electrodes are. Of course he was fouling plugs! I bet this guy also changes his oil every 10k miles

I'm going with 30K, because it's Toyota oil and it lasts!

I think you need to research oil changes a little more and understand. I go 10,000 miles on my trucks.

I anti-seize when I install plugs but pretty sure the factory does not, though.

I change the ones in my 4.0 every 30k and they still look great every time. Never notice a power or mileage difference when I change them.

I had Subarus with H6 engines with platinum plugs and 90k intervals. They were a bear to get to, since the engine had about 2" of space between it and the chassis on either side. They still looked good when I replaced them too.

I suspect the manufacturer recommendations will always be conservative to cut down on warranty claims.

If you are going to get Iridiums, I strongly suggest you get the ones with the platinum chip in the ground electrode. NGK Laser and Denso Long Life have it. The "cheap" Iridiums use nickel for the ground electrode, same as the copper plugs. I have the cheaper Iridiums in my V6 and wife's Lexus ES350. When I checked gap at about 80K in both cars, the ground electrodes were worn out and gap was over .055 (should be .043). Platinum is a harder metal than nickel and will not erode as easily. Have Denso Iridium LL's sitting on my work bench...
