I really want leather seats in my truck. I'm not going to spend the money on new covers. It may be worth it, but I just can't justify the cost for a luxury. I can, however, justify installing a set of full power, leather Jetta seats into it for $175 bucks. I found them on Craigslist. They look brand new and are already heated. Has anyone done such a swap? A set of rails shouldn't be too hard to fabricate. I have a welder if I need it. Does anyone own a Jetta? Are the seats pretty close in size? I'm going to take a look at this set after work. This wouldn't be my first seat swap. It has been a while though. If this works, they'll look phenomenal.

I have an 06 Jetta. I like the seats. Be aware that there are leather seats and "pleather" on the mid grade model. I believe if they are perforated, like your picture, they are "pleather". I have these and they look and wear great. If their car has a sunroof it may have leather, and since they are heated they may be leather. Let me know if you need measurements or anything. I have an 09 Taco to compare to.

https://charlotte.craigslist.org/pts/5901928096.html This car has the non-perforated real leather for comparison.

These must be the pleather. I don't think I'd mind that. Had pleather before and you're right. It does wear nicely. Heat must have been an add on. idk. They're nice though, and cheaper than, even, faux leather seat covers.

In theory yeah it sounds awesome.
I had a jetta gli, the seats were real leather. They are about the same size wise and lots of bolster support. If you can find them and it fits do it.

I had an 09 gti with cloth plaid. I went for cloth back then because the VW leather wore quickly and looked bad in the process. If they are leatherette you are lucky.

I dunno about Jetta seats but the Passat leather seats I've experienced were very uncomfortable for my fat ass lol

Only hangup I'm having at this point is deciding if I can get away with the tan on grey. I had a car that was black, tan, and grey interior before and it looked hot. Not so sure about my Tacoma. Might need to tan out some of the other interior parts to bring it all together.
