Anyone getting wind noise on the driver's side? In my situation it sounds like it is coming from the upper door jamb thru the rubber seals when I get a cross wind. Are there any fixes out there. My service tech said there was nothing he could do.

Very common. Search "kazoo" noise and wind noise in the 3rd gen section here. Some people have claimed to fix it by adding an extra rubber strip between the seal.

Mine comes and goes from the pax side front door like the window isn't rolled up all the way. Dealer "couldn't replicate"

Yes, I have had this sound as well. (Seems to be gone now, see below)

Last year the master tech got with the field tech and got advise and measurements for the various door margins. They did tweak the door a little bit. Didn't really notice any improvement with the wind sound.

I was hoping that this adjustment was going to take care of the strange, tinny sound the drivers door make when closing. It did not. The passenger door sounds fine.

Recently I had T-SB-0053-16 "Howling or Whistle Noise from Front Lower Control Arms" done during my last service.

So far I can say that all howling / whistle / wind noises have gone away from the drivers side area. Originally we thought that there was 2 separate noise sources, the Lower Control Arms and the door, but now it appears that it may have been all from the Lower Control Arms. I will edit this if I find that the noise comes back.

Have you had T-SB-0053-16 done? If not, give it a try. Pretty quick and easy.

    T-SB-0053-16 PDF link.

This TSB is for howling from the front LCA not the door wind noise but agree he should plug the LCA s

I waited until a pretty gusty day to take mine to the dealer so they were able to hear it once they got out on the interstate. It had the "kazoo" sound. They ordered a new door seal and it seems to have fixed the issue. I took a 270 mile trip immediately after and didn't hear it.

Are they installing the control arm plugs on the new trucks or do you have to complain first to get the TSB?

I had the same noise but worse we always have high winds in ND.
Had min done 3x, did the plugs myself. Had noise after first time than took it back to a different dealer they pissed there pants because of the grill guard and I had taken a 5/8"bit and cut 2 holes in my skid plate below the front removal bolts for easier access. put down on the svs recap owner made modes causing wind noise. took it back too the Fargo ,dealer that originally did it to see if the 2nd trans TSB was available it wasn't at that time the tec also checked the wind noise and I was told it had been done wrong first time. I made an appointment for both TSB's to be redone and the 100000 SVS 2 weeks later, the wind noise is gone
