In the last couple of years I've had thieves break into my truck twice while parked on different boat ramps. Meth heads patrol these remote East Texas forests for easy pickings. Can only expect more once they see a pretty new Taco sitting on one of them. I want to have video to review next time it happens. Is there a good video surveillance system out there that I can discreetly install that will record while the truck is off and parked? I'd like to have about an 8-hour stealth video loop capability. Most important...where in a 2016 would be the best mounting places for multiple cams that may not get noticed. Ideally I'd like to splice in the backup cam to the setup so that I might get vehicle ID and a license number to use in tracking them down.

with technology today, you can get pretty creative with stealth camera's for cheap. check out pocket camera's on ebay or mount a couple trail cams near where you park.
