Its sort of a dive type place, but i usually stay at the hilton garden inn on Lockwood. Ye olde ice cream is just across the bridge.

I heard that as long as Stuart Spinx stayed within SC, QT would stay out of South Carolina. He just had to have that Georgia store.. and now QTs are all over the upstate. Rumor has theyre gonna put one in Clemson near the new Newspring campus

Sounds like you know more about it than me! All I got is hearsay and conjecture. We have a small chain here called One Stop that could definitely use some competition, though!

There are 2 next to me- just off exits 85 and 88 from i 77. Another in Clover.

 

Also rumor... QT tried to buy out Spinx, but they refused. So, They said they will drive them out of business instead. And I think it is working. I prefer QT over Spinx. Employees there have got it going on.
