The White Water off road area is one of the few for trucks. (they have another on the lake only for moto's/atv's)
It's just South and East of the Keystone Lake dam. Accessible from south side of dam on State Hwy 151 between
Sand Springs and Mannford. There's also an ORV at the Dam at Grand Lake with rock.

See aerial image of it here:

I'm in Owasso. Not much here. There is a hill to climb behind the hospital and a slop hole near Sperry. Not much else.
There is Chandler park (just south of it there are a few trails).

If you want some real trails, you're looking at the Ozarks, kiamichi ktrail, or a trip to Colorado or Utah.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. There just doesn't seem to be much here.

Little Sahara in Waynoka has some big hills as well as trail areas.

You could look at the Red River New Mexico area also, there are several trails there.

There is K Trail in Clayton. I've never tried it.. but would not run it during hunting season. I always wanted to drive it.

Fully understanding that we have these trucks to use them.... I've got to say that a friend of mine just did the fire tower section of Ktrail. It was tons of fun so I hear, but his truck looks like he plowed through multiple barbed wire fences.
I'm not kidding when I say the aftermath resembles Freddy Krueger's wet dream.

    Just FYI...

I'll probably still do it at some point, but good god those scratches...

Thanks for the heads up on that. I'm in NW Oklahoma so it's not that much further for me to go west to NM. I don't mind a scratch here and there but I'm not ready to take it through something that bad yet. lol

I went down to Davis to Crossbar Ranch off-road park. They still have a shitty map, and still don't mark the trails worth a shit but we had a good time in spite of that. I've taken my Jeep before but had not taken the Taco until this weekend. The Taco is an 02 TRD with the factory locker and my buddy took his Samurai. I followed the Samurai info a few places we probably shouldn't have gone. The short wheel base open diff Sami took to the rocks better than the longer locked diff Taco. I'm very glad I took some large tree clippers because some of the trails got really tight. I still have a few hours of buffing scratches out to do. Next time we go I'll take the clippers and maybe a small chain saw to make sure the trail is wide enough for a midsize truck or Jeep.
We didn't brake anything and only had to winch the truck once so I'd say that was a successful trip. I'll post up next time I'm headed that way if anyone else feels like joining.
