    Evening folks,

I'm about to buy a set of black Lund 5" oval step bars. I was wondering if anyone would think it would be a good idea to apply a few coats of bedliner to them. I would like to roll it on all over expect for where the actual step platform is. In my mind it seems like this would help protect the finish, and add to the longevity of the bars. I was just curious if anyone else had anything to say about it being a good/bad idea. Thanks guys.
