I look at it like this....would you feel safe if thats how your wheels fit on the lugs without the spacers?

That was before they were torqued down....but no, hence the reason for the thread

    :goingcrazy:

If you retorqued after you applied the loctite, then you no longer have loctite locking the threads.

Red loctite is for when you don't plan on retorquing. Set and forget. And use a torch to melt the loctite before you remove, or you might gall the threads or strip something.

I'm surprised you didn't gall the threads or worse, break a stud.

    I should add a disclaimer, I guess...

The "red loctite" I used was the red liquid that SpiderTrax includes with the spacers. So I can't be 100% sure it's the same as the red luquid from Loctite.

    Probably is red thread lock.

My point is that you should not re-torque a thread-locked bolt, unless you melt, clean off and reapply the threadlock compound.

That makes sense. Didn't think about it at the time since I used the equipment supplied by SpiderTrax and followed their instructions. I have removed and reinstalled the spacers since the first install and the studs and nuts look fine.

That is really bad juju. I wouldn't drive it like that for any reason.
