IMG_7868.jpg IMG_7869.jpg IMG_7871.jpg Is anyone else running a 2nd gen with an oil catch can and get results like this every winter? I'm assuming it's because of the temp slightly shrinking seals and allowing more blow by... by

You're collecting more moisture in your region then a drier region. Also depends on where you're going that causing you to acclimate that much moisture in the catch can.

My catch can doesn't have that much moisture in it when I change my oil.

Just normal road driving, I live in southern Pennsylvania/northern Maryland. It can get pretty humid here, but it's only in the colder months that it accumulates. During the summer, it doesn't accumulate anything.

Normal. It will look like that in the Fall/Winter and black in the Spring/Summer. I've had one on since the day I bought the truck and it turns milky like clockwork.

That's good to know, I was a little concerned. I don't get anything in the summer though

I have the same coffee with lots of creamer look in the winter months in Chicago... I also noticed that I need to empty the can more frequently during the winter months.

I live in humid/rainy climate and I have never seen that color in the catch can on my car. Always the same color as the oil is. Winter/summer no different.

It's generally associated with cold weather, not humid or wet weather.

IIRC, when it's cold, condensation accumulates in the lines which mixes with the oil and gives you the milky color.

Reviving this thread. Recently moved to high elevation in Colorado and noticed, yes I have to empty the can more often. And today, there was ice in the can as well.
