Part 1 was my y-pipe and 170 degree thermostat installed about 6 months ago. Couldnt be happier. The slightly lower temp thermostat is just fine in the AZ winters and helps in the summers. Y-pipe came with an extra O2 bung for my A/F gauge. Sweet.

Due to special assignment in LV, I had to put the fuel pump and 2.8 pulley on hold. Came home and my wife had emergency surgery. I'll be happy to say goodbye to 2016 thats for sure.

Finally have time to do the DW fuel pump upgrade and install the suregrip pulley. Well before I get into the install details, let me give a shout out to Gadget. I had a question mid way through the install. Even though it was spelled out on the instructions, we (my friend Scott and I) were both unclear. Called and spoke with the man himself and he happily clearified. I wish the storiy ended there. Somehow we lost the special butt connectors that can be submerged in gas. So I called back, and sure enough they were a rare bird. Gadget was nice enough to rush out new ones plus a band clamp at no charge.

    Thanks Gadget.

If any of you have doubts about URD upgrades. Heres my positive experiences about G and his goods.

Heres the tank dropped. Disconnecting all filler vent, fuel level plug on the top, and the rear evap hose was a Bi**h!

Cutting slots in the bucket for stainless clamp to hold fuel pump. We scored with a dremel and heated a razor knife to make the actual cut. the heated razor knife made nice precise narrow cuts just big enough for the clamp to pass through.

The instructions with pump kit are pretty detailed. I read through them several times before the install. Just DONT lose them any parts!

Heres the suregrip pulley installed. When removing the stock pulley with a puller, its really tough at first. Then theres a loud "snap" when it begins to come off. I was like oh shiz but my friend said hey its moving. After the stock pulley came off, we had a slight problem getting the screw off that protects the snout threads. I used a mallet to install the stock pulley slightly back onto the SC snout. The use the strap wrench to hold the pulley/ snout from turning. Thus allowing to remove the screw. In hindsight, I would've put a small metal plate over the snout to protect the threads.

We heated the pulley in a toaster oven for an hour at 325F. Froze the snout and with the pulley straight from the oven, it slid almost all the way on. We stopped so we wouldnt over insert it and used the install tool to press on the remaining way. I had s light problem with the tool coming apart but as @crashnburn80 said "remain calm" and pick up the pieces and carry on.
