If I would have had more money when getting my house I would have bought one with a garage, but for the price and monthly payment, I had to settle on a non garage house. At least I have a great driveway and neighborhood!

Yep, I use velcro for anything that I know may need to be removed. Like a pack of 100 velcro ties can be gotten for like 10 bucks or so.

That's cool I'm gonna have to get some of those ties for future use. I've got about a billion zip ties over here but they can be a pain in the ass.

Yep! A lot of the truck gets Zipties for wiring, but it does suck when you have to go through and cut them all to redo something.

But my mother did get me this thing for Christmas, but the Uline version of it!

I am planning on getting a Canon T6 with a 10-24mm lens and a 18-55mm lens pretty soon for adventures and such.

I was big into wildlife and landscape photography for a while. Never was very good at it though!

I just want something that I can take with me on adventures so that I will actually take pictures. I try to with my phone but I either forget or just don't get good pictures. With all the trips I am planning next year, I need something that will force me to take good pictures.

I'm gonna be installing a light bar in my grill like yours pretty soon and I want to mount my front plate like you have it. Do you simply have the plate mounted with the bottom two holes or is there some kind of supporting bracket? Thanks!

Dude, the truck is looking great!

What did you spend on the bed cap?
I'm back and forth on this constantly.
I'm sure it's somewhere in your thread but 49 pages, ain't nobody got time for that :)

I did, I just used the bottom holes of the plate to mount it. Now that I have the new bumper on the truck, I may have forgotten to put the plate on as you can't bolt it to the Pelfreybilt bumper with the bumper on the truck. So now the plate hangs out in my window.

I spent $900 on the cap. I bought it while I was at the Lone Star Toyota Jamboree off of my camp neighbor. Was hard to pass it up to be honest, unfortunally it is not the reinforced one and does not have the side windoors, but I don't think I will ever run a RTT on it and I have not had an issue of getting stuff in and out of it.

I can only imagine! Some people spend way to much money on that... but then again I spend too much money on truck parts.

It can get pretty ridiculous that's for sure. My most expensive lens is $2K but that's nothing compared to the super telephoto stuff they use in wildlife and sports photography.

On my first backpacking trip in Colorado my camera kit alone was about 15 pounds... that and all the other crap I brought just about killed me on those mountains hahaha

Yea I want to avoid that. So just a Canon T6 with two lenses, a remote shutter, and a tripod is all I really want to get.

You'd be surprised how it starts to add up. Especially if you really dig it and come to the conclusion that your first kit isn't going to cut it for what you want to do (like what happened to me lol).

Then there's post processing goodies... that's another rabbit hole to go down.
