Hey there. Got my first tacoma, a 2011 TRD 4X4 double cab long bed 17" wheels. Thinking of lifting 2" and and going with 18" wheels. It is a daily driver and I would like to maintain its ride as it is. I do some offroading riding once in a while and do some towing. What would you guys recommend coilovers or separate springs and coils? I am thinking of bilstein or ikon, which of them should I go with? and what should I do to the rear? Should I also change my uca's?
which wheel and tire combos would you recommend? Finally but most important, She's a gas guzzler, is there anything to make her a little more economic?

thanks in advance for the info

First and foremost what's your price range? How big of tires are you trying to run? How much towing do you do?

Bigger rims and tires are going to kill your mileage ! So, do you want a stock size rims and tires or do you want to have a nice truck?

To gain something you must sacrifice something somewhere, unless you regear down the road.

Can you really drop the RPM`s back down to stock(ish)? I have a 4x4 and my mileage has really been bad...

Suspension budget is about $2,000. Still weighing my options on rims. would like to fit 305/70r18 wheels. once in a while (not constantly) have to tow boats till 25'. would be interested in re gearing but have no idea about this issue and haven't started my homework on this topic yet. any insight into what I should do would be appreciated.
