With the buzzing and vibration in my steering wheel and gas pedal I almost think it's the motor mounts. The wheel doesn't shake or shimmy and doesn't feel like it's a tire issue.
It's a very similar buzz that I had with my fox body when I installed the solit motor and transmission mounts although I wanted the vibrations in that case.

Engine mouths or exhaust related ,that's the most common theory

Maybe mine is slightly different. It's a loud buzzing noise, like something small and plastic is vibrating against something metal. I can clearly hear it with the truck in park when I tap my foot on the side of the brake pedal. It sounds exactly I hear in one of the videos on this thread. But I personally feel no vibrations, just noise. I only hear the buzz around 1800-2k rpm

Yeah, when I 1st noticed problem, I was looking in my console for something vibrating. I had a challenger, and of course if I left stuff in console, it would vibrate. but then I noticed vibration in steering wheel. Mine occurs almost exclusively at 2100 RPM. I tend to drive in ECT most of the time because I like the added get up and go and also because engine spends much less time in this RPM range.

Yeah Toyota told me I will have to live and deal with it..... which I found disturbing.

yeah seems like many have reported the issue, though not sure how many. but in going through this thread, common responses from Toyota braintrust are:
    1. we cant find a problem. you want some coffee or a soda?
    2. we found the buzzing. that's how it was designed. now finish your coffee and get out of here.
    3. we found the buzzing. we agree its an issue. we dont know how to fix it. we dont have any more coffee.

well my truck has been in 6 times so far and they have identified there is an issue with the vibration and they don't know what it is. There will be an official letter going to the dealer and Toyota Registered return receipt...

It has gotten worse to where my passengers feel it...

If you press them hard enough they will buy back the truck. At least one member here managed that. I bet there were more buybacks due to this than just that one guy.

It totally baffles me they won't get off their asses and design replacement engine mounts that would dampen the vibration. I think they calculate that the rate of complaints is not enough to warrant it, most people don't notice/ignore/suck it up. Sales are strong, so they don't care. Long term brand damage - corporate drones don't think about that.

They applied it to mine too when I brought it in for 10k service. The "buzzy vibration" is still there, mainly all in the gas pedal now, but much much better.

Edit: I take it back. It's really not any better (I guess I was hoping too much) and now the transmission shifts at the weirdest and possibly most dangerous times. Like when I come to a stop and THEN the transmission downshifts almost lurching me into the car in front.

I have the same problem - vibration in my gas pedal - seems to be getting worse. Has anyone been able to get it fixed?

There is no real fix for it .
But for some weird reason the other day I got the tranny tsb done and the vibration is less noticeable.
    Coincidence? Probably

    I knew about that tsb
But that's not the vibration that I was talking about.
When the truck is between 1800-2300 rpm the pedal "vibrates" a little bit.
Is more like a buzzing feeling than a vibration.

It doesn't bother me too much I just feel it.

What do you think it is

At least that's what the most common theory is but who knows .
Hundreds of people are experiencing this but Toyota doesn't have a fix for it yet .
I kind of gave up on it so I learned to live with it,but again right after I got the tranny tsb done, the vibration is a lot less noticeable or at least that's what I want to believe lol

Also does your Tacoma have the chirping noise form the engine
