so I posted the old 35x14.50-15s on Craigslist last night. Had a text from a buyer this morning. He came by this evening and bought em. Advertised for 450, sold for 400. Remember I only paid 750bfornthe truck. I also bought yesterday from 4wp 15x8 pro comp steelies and then some 33s from Firestone. 50 a pop for steelies and 630 for the 33s.

I took off 15s, I guess the truck came with 16s, the 15" steelies barely rubbed the caliper, I started grinding one but didn't feel too comfortable with it, so off to oriellys I went for 1/4" spacers. Now I want longer studs. Anyone have any suggestions, ? This thing drives sooooo much better. No more wobble in the wheel, more power too. No rubbing. Def closer to daily driver material now.
Here's a before, coming home on tow truck, freshly washed with old tires, then the third is a few cans of black rattle can on the frame and new wheels and tires

Previous owner misdiagnosed it. He did a tune up then it ran like crap. Thought it was valve cover gasket so he took out plug 1 and 2 and thought he broke 3 in the head. It sat for a year and a half till I finally bugged him enough and he said 750. I got it home, noticed 2 plug wires crossed and in cylinder 3 the plug wire was broke so he couldn't get plug out, I pulled the wire with needle nose, 4 new plugs and she runs perfect. Idles up, idles down, hasn't missed a start, starts fast.

If you need longer studs get 2004 toyota matrix rear studs. I have the same wheel with the 1/4 inch spacer

Perfect that's what I was looking for. For a 97 Tacoma right? Same lug nuts?

It did look good sitting there. But that's about all it would do, I had to give it tons of fuel relatively just to back out of driveway.

I believe they do use the same wheel studs. I did my manual conversion a long time ago though so cant remember 100% Either way if I had to redo my wheel studs I would put rear ones on in front since they are longer. The fronts are so short on my 04.

Old post. But anyways the studs from the 04 Matrix have to be rear for an AWD model 55mm. Tacoma rears are 44mm fronts 40 mm. Why they did such a stupid thing is beyond me.
