Hey Guys! Just getting started here, but picked up a 17' Tacoma BLK DCSB TRDOR 4WD yesterday! Looking forward to learning more about my new truck and making a few mods myself! This is my first midsize truck, as I have always had a full size and most recently traded in my 03' Cheverolet Silverado 4x4 Duramax 2500. Being in that truck for 12 years brought on a love/hate relationship with diesels in general and I also grew tired of having more truck than I really needed. Needless to say, I have always been fond of Tacomas and recent happenings provided me with the opportunity to do some truck shopping and here we are! It has been an adjustment so far, mainly getting used to a V6 coming from a Duramax! I am so used to not having to mash on the gas to compensate for hills or acceleration that I find myself slowing down a good bit in the Tacoma trying to drive it like a diesel! Cabin size has not really affected me and I am already adjusting to the new engine and even though its different, I could not be any happier with my purchase! I'm looking forward to getting involved here and meeting you guys! Cheers!

I recently sold my Nissan Titan and downsized to a Tacoma. It's an adjustment for sure. I'm not a big fan of the automatic transmission in mine but I guess I'll get use to it. Welcome to the forum. I purchased mine in Bristol TN.
