    Scooby, what bulbs are those? you can see my fogs are throwing way different.Mine are the Opt7 LED Headlight bulbs. A distinct line, a wider spread and they dont throw out all over the place.

    Those definitely look better than the ones I have which is much more promising as a viable option but would be helpful to see it with the stock halogen on one side and further away to see if the cutoff is staying below the low beams at a distance.

    I threw in a stock bulb for comparison. The difference is huge but still distinct cutoff lines.

    Interesting to see the differences in the low beams though, I can see why the throw of the led isn't as far as HID. The light looks fairly uniform in your beam pattern instead of intensely focused in the center which aids in seeing at a distance.

    These are 2800 lumen VX3 bulbs from VLEDs - no longer in production, but I would imagine the SMZ or LMZ bulbs would offer similar patterns. These photos were taken with the lenses of the bulbs about 2.5 feet from the wall.

    Low beams are HID from Jumper.

    Just the fogs and LED DRLs.

    hopefully apex fabworks comes up with a 3rd gen mount. These are hands down the best replacmemt fogs in my opinion. Very satisfying easy mod, with great results. 100 bucks on the group buy.

    Amazon shipped these fast, and I was already in the area installing my lightbar, so I popped these in. Light is good, matches the DRLs. I understand what some of the commenters were saying now though, it throws light in all directions, not really focused down like the factory fogs. But they plugged right in, the color matches, and I dont think they are so bright that they will negatively impact other drivers.

    Light bars are most definitely negatively impacting other drivers. I was completely blinded by a jeep with a light bar setup in his grill as he was driving the opposite direction on the highway from me...the highway, not a two lane road, but a road separated by a huge median. Use those for off road when you need additional light, not for street driving with traffic. Please.

    Just installed Morimoto XB LED integrated fog light housings. For 130 bucks, this is the way it should be done.

    Took it out tonight to see the difference and these fogs are quite the improvement. It's difficult to capture with the cell phone but to the naked eye everything is just bright as hell. As narrow a beam as the fogs produce, the color and total light output work amazingly in combination with the HIDs.

    Warning: DO NOT LOOK INTO THE LIGHT. Good thing these things have a sharp cutoff...ridiculously bright.

    The first set was taken in full daylight with the garage door up. Not a good setting to judge output. I was interested in the beam pattern.

    Here is a great example to show what happens when you just slap in some H11 LEDS as your fogs (my truck)... notice the circular pattern that just spreads light everywhere. Morimotos going in today...

    Hey Scooby, I finally took some pics and mine do not have as clear of a line as yours thats for sure but they also do not go above the low beam cutoff but do slightly blend into the ow beam light. You see most of the difference is below the low beams, you can see how more lit the driveway is.

    No I wasn't satisfied with a bulb replacement as I wanted to ensure the fogs were doing what they are supposed to do while not blinding others. Obviously the variability in LED results is quite great and if opt7 or another high price bulb is as good as it gets going that route, I decided to spend just a little more at 130 shipped to get the integrated led housings. Very happy I did.
