Blah... On vacation from work, but why is it I still have to work at home? Gotta go load the truck with firewood and unfortunately that doesn't mean I get to go play in the desert or mountains. sigh...

I'm taking 3 weeks off in February and I'll probably be working on my house for most of that.

Ok bitches if you only had 25K to spend on a FULL SIZE 4wd truck what would you buy that's readily available on the market? Asking for a friend who is NOT mechanically inclined so reliability is a must. I suggested a Tacoma, naturally, and got shot down. Haha. Let's hear it!

    Edit:

Access cab at minimum for a back seat
    Standard size bed
Not towing anything a 1/2 ton can't handle

Some sort of back seat so access cab at minimum. No towing needs. Standard size bed.

Most of what you said is exactly why I'm asking. She's in a tight spot with her budget vs needs...or wants. She currently as a jetta TDI diesel that they are buying back from her because of a class action lawsuit. Problem is when they hand her a check next month its a take it or leave it deal and then they take the car. She wants to upgrade to a truck so I told her I would ask around. I just don't follow the used truck market so I don't have any good advice. She's more of a friend'save friend so I don't know own what her financial situation is or if she can squeeze out more than 25K.

    I appreciate the tips!

    #futureexwife! Hahaha.

She's owned and 05 and an 07 Cummins so she's been in the truck scene. No clue why she has the TDI now.

Tundras are about the only trucks I've seen for sale so far that aren't giant piles of shit.

This place has some pretty good deals, I bought my F-250 from them for about 25% under KBB. Some of their trucks have salvage titles or minor issues (mine was a theft recovery), but the one in the link doesn't.
