Sorry to hear about your family friend Andy.

 

It helped but I actually didn't sleep very well, so I'm not all here tonight. On top of that, there was a fire on one of our machines Monday and it's been real picky tonight.

That happens here. They say it will be nothing and then we get a foot. But anything is rare here. We have more freezing rain and ice to deal with when we do actually get something.

 

Tim, how much longer? And you still work Thursday night too, right?

Ice Fickle bitch's evil daughter. Except for in a cooler or glass, nothing good comes from ice IMHO.

Less than a couple to go but I believe I'll sleep today. And I do have one more night.

And with ice we can have extended wide spread power outages.

 

We are getting rain and mild temps here this week.

 

Yea could be lot worse.

 

If we get ice down here they just shut down the highways. Dumbasses don't know how to drive in rain around here.

 

15 years now and I have yet to have to shovel the roof; a good wind always comes up and clears it for us. One time there were a couple 3 to 4 foot drifts and I thought on a Wednesday, "if it's still there this weekend, I'm gonna hafta get up there and clear it" ... gone by Friday.

I've seen people create various implements where it was a recurring issue for them. In Palmer we're situated/influenced by a couple glaciers and the Matanuska River bed ... we get way more than our share of wind.
