Naw, these things have long handles. You do it from the ground. Prevents ice dams in the gutters.

    Fugg that pollen!
Several years ago I almost lost my hearing due to white pine pollen.
We were running phone cables thru a stand of white pines that were blooming similar to your cedars.
I was covered with that shit and some got into my ears.
Stuff ended up fermenting and caused severe pain and chaos in my inner ears for weeks.
Finally a hot shit Doc up at Yale figured it out.
He prescribed an OTC Athlete's Foot medicine that contained a particular ingredient.
    Cured in 1 day. WTF.

I keep ours in one of those waist-high plastic storage units. Close enough that the power cable reaches to the house. I leave the generator in there all the time. If it is still storming I leave the top lid down and just open the front doors to run it. Works like a champ!

Found a picture of the type of storage thingie I'm talking about:

Would take me an hour. But to be honest it's not the greatest. I can't go through snow more than two inches deep. So I try not to back up over snow. It does its job however I miss my plow. But after I retire I may sell this ,get a smaller one, and put a plow on the jeep after we buy another vehicle. Still need walk behind too.
