I just rolled over 35k miles so I finally got around to doing my 30k service. When I pulled my plugs I checked the gaps and the NGK were all far more gap than the Densos. I replaced them all with NGK but may switch to Denso when I roll over 60. Densos were all right about 0.048 while the NGKs were all over 0.053. All the new NGKs were gapped right around 0.041-0.042. Just an interesting observation.

I think they are both good plugs, but I think Denso for some reason holds the Gap better, Denso FTW

The funny thing is, the NGKs were a little bit more on Amazon but they were able to ship faster so I went with them over the Densos.

    Quite common with the NGK's.

So what do you guys usually replace your plugs with? Denso or something else? I don't really buy into the "premium" plug advertising.

I used a Denso or NGK Platinum Dual tip on my 3.4l v6 was expecting to double my replacement but in that engine they were just as worn at 30k when I checked them and had to re gap. I think the best are Denso copper at 30k for the bucks

I too would go with Denso. They perform and wear better than any other brand IMO.
