    Hello folks,

New to TacomaWorld, but not to Tacoma. My first vehicle was a used '89 Toyota Pickup (before Tacoma even existed). It was followed by a couple of other cars until I got a new Tacoma Pre-runner in 2003 (I still own it). As of last week, I also own a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off-Road. We plan to keep the 2003 until spring (to haul stuff) then sell it off. I have to admit it feels like I'm giving up a kid or something. :)

In any case, I got bitten by the off-roading bug, and am not ashamed to say I know almost nothing about it. Originally I had my eye on getting a Sportsmobile, but I can't justify the price tag, especially when I needed a new set of wheels to drive everyday.

The compromise is this Tacoma with a FWC setup (sometime next year, I hope).

Here's a photo of it before it was even driven off the dealership lot.
