Hello TW! I hope Santa got everyone what they wanted this year...I know I did, but that is for another post.

I purchased some used headlights here a while ago....and really like the look of them. Problem is, the passenger side light is stuck on high beam! I have checked voltage at both plugs, and everything seems to be fine there. When you engage the high beam, there is a "Click" at the headlights telling me the high beam mode is mechanical.

Here is a link the the lights I have:

If anyone can share to knowledge about how I can fix this, it would be GREATLY appreciated. Anything I can do to avoid tearing the front end apart again would be welcome.

Oh, and I did try to contact Anzo, but I guess they do not care about servicing the product once it leaves their company.

    Thanks.

Given that it has a H9 bulb and high beam functionality, the projector has a cutoff shield that moves with the help of a solenoid. My guess is that for whatever reason, the solenoid wire was connected to the low beam power wire, causing it to receive power when you turn it on and making that mechanical click you hear when you turn on the headlights. I doubt you would be able to repair that without opening it up.

Well, that is what I suspected. I guess I can feed power manually to each contact to see what happens. I do heat the "click" in that headlight so maybe there is just something that is stuck.
