Any more pics since you've completed it? still roughly the same height or any changes noticed? Did you get the alignment and does it seem to have corrected your issues you were incurring?

Seems like You'd see more people doing this on their sr's, cheap upgrade.

Nice, but I am surprised (and a bit skeptical) that just changing the shocks in the back would give you an extra 1/4" rear lift.

I would check to make sure your lower control arms are contacting your frame mounted bump stops before the shock itself is bottoming out.

Yeah the alignment showed that I had some toe-out, and SAI / Included angle was a bit off of factory spec. Bizzarre bump-steery like feeling went away after that. Lesson learned: ALWAYS do the alignment even if you marked the eccentrics.

Here's a pic from the other day, again, I'm on 265/70R16 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws.

Same here, I was stumped but I measured and re-measured a number of times! My guess is this: Leaf spring is what pushes up, shock is what "pulls" down and damps movement. The Bilstiens are "softer" at rest and pull down with less force @ static height and no load. Thus the springs are allowed to push the truck up further.

As far as I know the chassis itself is configured exactly the same across models, and the only thing different from this truck VS a stock TRDOR would be the 1/4" spacer, which Toytec said would not require bump stop shims. I will probably be installing wheeler's off road bump stops at some point so I will check then.

TRDOR Take off coils and Bilsteins with a 1/4" spacer up front, Bilsteins with original leafs on the back, and wheels and tires.
Sliders, skid plate, and rear bumper weighing it down.
I did not take any measurements.

Those TRD OR setups are probably setup for the heavier V6 up front? Maybe that's where that lift comes from?
Did you get the 3.5" BS F5's? Looks good!

Link to the 0.25" Toytec spacer please.

So gained 1.25+" front height and 0.25" back?

Any difference in ride at all?

    all tore up already
your truck doesnt have opposite taco lean now? reason the spacer is needed is because stock coil springs are side specific and all aftermarkets are not. using OEM coils you should not need a drivers side lean spacer

That, plus I think I got some extra because I'm a prerunner, so no transfer case and diff up there either.

Uhh I always mix up the backspace and offset. 0 offset so... 4" backspace?? But yeah, the F5's are awesome. I love 'em.

    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/TP14--Front-Top-Plate-Spacer-One-14-thick-spacer_p_351.html order 2 of these.

Ride is exactly like the TRDOR. Leans more in corners, but is less jolty off road.

No, what I did was used a "lean" spacer on both sides to give it just a hair bit of extra lift without incurring the wrath of normal, larger spacers. Didn't even need to install longer studs. No lean in the front at all.

Nope, I put a 1/4" spacer on both sides. And I put the left side on the left & the right side on the right. They were marked which side they were removed from.
