I like the Viair 90p better. It served me well for a long time, and I now have it hard wired in the truck to help out my 480c.

    It never efffing ends.....

Bailey, I purchased one of these from Northern Tool a couple of months ago: http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200442866_200442866

Along with one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NQGCDC8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

No experience using it offroading/deflating yet, but I have used it to seat a couple of tubeless mountain bike tires. :bikewheelie2:

I've tried 2 different versions of all-in-one handheld styles.
Had a Midland 75-822 for a few weeks. Was horrible. Lots of noise even when using the battery pack, worse with car adapter. Never tried it with a "real" antenna, just the one it came with. Aside from the noise, it didn't transmit or receive very well at all anyway. Range was about 20 yards. Assumed it was defective and returned it. It was a really nice fit in my hand though so I didn't have to reposition to reach different buttons.

Now have the Cobra 75 WX ST and a 4ft Firestik antenna. Happy with it except it feels bulky in my hand making it seem awkward to press buttons sometimes.
My SWR is still a bit high after tuning but even so I've been able to hear people clearly from 10+ miles away out on the highway. Haven't really tried it much on the trails. I think using a higher quality antenna cable and maybe a braided ground wire (instead of twisted) for the antenna mount might improve signal more but I'm too cheap to worry about it now since it works well enough so far.

I got a Harbor Freight compressor that clamps to the battery posts. It runs really HOT but airs up tires pretty quick.

I have the Midland, but I only use it plugged into the vehicle with a K40 magnetic antenna. It's never given me any issues, and like you said it fits well in my hand.

Staying on the home court tonight. We have a couple friends here and they'll be staying. We're frying up 8 lbs of scallops, drinking beer and getting ready to make noise with fire arms! I'm sure my homeowners insurance carrier would be thrilled to hear this!
