Hey what's up guys tonight I was driving and started hearing the power steering pump complaining. Popped the hood and the reservoir was COMPLETELY empty. Great.

Luckily I had just enough to fill it up.

It was dark and not a great spot to get a better look at the leak but it's at the bottom of the hose closest to the passenger side seat. (Not the one towards the very front of the truck)

I'll attach a video and get some better pics when it's light out.

    What is that hose called?

looks like the return hose to the steering box or PS Pump, I would check the hose/connection there maybe it came loose

its probably loose, pull that clip up with pliers and push the hose down better till it seats put clip back on. if you suck out the fluid in the resovoir you can replace with DEXRON II or III ATF the resovoir takes 7 oz. to fill when completely empty, I just replaced the fluid in mine that's what I measured out

    I believe I only had 3yr/30k I currently have 50k on it.

I released the clamp and pushed the hose down further on the elbow fitting and it hasn't leaked yet. I guess somehow the hose snuck its way up/loose :fingerscrossed:
