    Hey All,

I'm a new member and this is my first post. I've got a 2016 TRD Off-Road and I've noticed that when a passenger is watching a movie in the truck using a smartphone/tablet connected to Bluetooth on the stereo, there is a 2+ second delay in sound. I have no issues with the Bluetooth in my Lexus, so I don't believe it's an issue with the device being used. Has anyone else experienced a Bluetooth audio delay like this? If so, any recommendations would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Yes, mine does it also. I think the only way to really fix it is to plug the phone into the aux port.

2 seconds is long but Bluetooth always lags - whether it's to my tacoma, my mustang, or the adapter I have for the speakers in my workshed. Always kinda funny hearing a double chime from an email coming in or whatever.

Plugged in or not mine has that delay. I was trying to show my wife a video once. She thought I was trying to show her the delay it was so bad. I gave up using it. :(

Thanks for the responses! It's a bit disappointing that there seems to be no solution to the audio lag. In my other vehicle, the audio is spot on! Oh well...it's certainly something I can live with. Thanks again!
