So... I ordered front and rear lockers for my Build. I found a closeout deal on the RD111 ( 3.93 & up Carrier) and 4.56 gears. Cool right? Yeah, I thought so...

The description for this unit is a bit misleading. It states "3.93 & up Carrier" so I assumed since I was going to 4.56 this was the RIGHT carrier. WELL WRONG....

Unfortunately the gears I ordered are incorrect are not compatible with the ARB RD111. They do not fit this carrier because they are cut taller or "thicker" to adapt to the stock 3.73 & down carrier.

More research, the RD111 has been superseded by the RD121 which also fits all ring and pinons for the stock 3.73 & down carrier.

After a bit of digging here on TW, I found another post HERE by @xaqori noting a similar problem with 4.88 gears and the RD111 Carrier.

Everything I see online is for the RD121 (3.73 & down carrier). IE "Thick Cut" hears... So I'm looking for 4.56 gears to fit this carrier.

Does anyone happen to have a part number I can try to source? Or am I $hit Outta Luck??

I've sent an email to both RRP & ECG. I've not had a response back but understand it's the holidays so I'm waiting for a reply.

    Any help appreciated.

On another note, I'm doing an amazing job at ordering the wrong parts! I also ordered the wrong rear locker as well. I have an RD132 sitting on my desk in front of me. I should have ordered the RD129!

-Rear RD129 is for base SR5 - Non E locked truck.
-Rear RD132 is for the TRD / OR Trucks with equipped with the smaller ring / pinion with a factory E-locker.
(Wanted to post this so Front & Rear locker info is available in one single definitive post online.)

[Thinking out loud] The question is; do I try to swap the complete rear end to an E-locker rear with the weaker / smaller ring & pinon now or do I sell this and buy the RD129?

The plan is LT, 35's, a Sawzall :sawzall:[Theoretically speaking]
