    1. Looks like the switch is meant for indoor use, not weather hardened.
    2. Have to wire it so the light is off when vehicle is running, so switch doesn't trip as the vehicle moves.

    1. Yeah I am a bit used to this, I do a lot of kayak rigging and have had to waterproof electronics with epoxy before.
    2. That also shouldn't be too difficult, I'm sure there are a couple things that are turned off then the truck starts and on when the truck is off.

    Or you could just look super bro with the lights under the truck.

    The more I think about the approach lights though, that probably doesn't need a motion switch. I think the trucks with a key fob already have the dome lights come on when you get close. So I could wire into that.

    I'll hang on to the link though, I'm sure they will come in handy for something later. :playball:

    The LED Illumination Package puddle and footwell light behave this way. They light up as I (rather, the smartkey) approach.
