I'm trying to find out how wide my rims are because I want to keep the same width when I buy aftermarket wheels.

They are seven inches wide. Why stick with that width? You are limiting yourself from the size of tires you can buy.

I was going to keep the width just because I've heard that if you change the size it will not ride correctly. If that's just b.s I'm definitely going to get bigger wheels.

Yeah man you can definitely run wider wheels. These for example... https://www.stealthcustomseries.com/products/ray10 are 8.5" wide and made for the Tacoma/4Runner/FJ.

If you stick with the 7" wide wheel you're limiting your tire size to a 275 series. Yeah you can fit larger than that, but it's not recommended per the manufacturer.

Alright cool thanks for the input. I'll definitely look into the wheels you linked a bit more.

I am getting myself the SR8s in January when they come into stock. Sticking with the stock tires this time around as they don't look all that bad and can save the money for now. Good luck on your wheel search. Happy New Year.
