I have read all the forums and everyone says something else.
On my 08 access cab the driver side floor is pretty wet, as well as the passenger side. when i press down on it, some water comes up. i cheked the heater core and its fine. i cant think of anything else. i wanna fix it before that bitch rotts out. if anyone figured out their problem please let me know. I'm willing to try anything

Not the usual thing but check your 3rd brake light. That's another common problem spot, the Chevy Colorado was notorious for it.

If the heater core/hoses are not leaking (there would be a distinctive odor), and you have not recently driven through deep puddles or heavy rain, the only remaining source would be the AC evaporator coil housing/drain...

Not sure where you live but hopefully you don't have rotten floorboards. I had an old car as a kid that had a couple of small holes and that was letting water in.

same thing happens to me in my first gen, my brothers floor actually rotted out on his '95 so he had to weld it all back up, I just recently started noticing it and at first thought it was just me bringing water in or something, but Im starting to think its my door seals, haven't looked around much though.

Spend a few hours to rip out the carpet, that should help you see the source of the water. When I installed my stereo it took me longer to remove all the trim pieces than it took to remove the carpet on my access cab. Would also allow you to dry the insulation under it before it molds & festers. Do you park it outside, if so has it rained or snowed recently? If you can narrow it down to truck fluids vs. mother nature that will greatly reduce the points you have to search.

For my 2007 it was the cowling.....the black plastic that sits outside between your windsheild and hood. I wanna say there is even a TSB for that. Mine wasnt covered, it was almost 400 bucks from the dealer, so fricking expensive but it solved my leak. I would bet thats your issue.

I had the same problem on my 07 Taco. Turned out to be the AC evaporate coil

    Things to check:

    1. Heater Core
    2. Leaking thru the grommet where the wiring goes thru the firewall
    3. Cowl
    4. Roof strips
    5. Door weather stripping
    6. If you hammered your pinchweld, check it.
    7. Windshield

Check your light bar bracket connections. I'm betting that's where it's leaking

Another common issue is with the AC condensate drain getting plugged up, and leaking condensate into the cab.

Busted CV boots and lots of squeaks.
Open the front doors. On the bottom where the fender, door and body come together there is a small rubber flap. Pull that flap out and look at all the goodness behind it. Leaves, road junk and all kinds of stuff fall into this cavity and get trapped. Water could back up into the cab from there. I can post a pic in a little while if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Do you have a rear sliding window? If so check the rubber seal that holds the window into the cab. You should see a small indention on both sides of the back of the cab. This is where the water is suppose to drain out from the sliding window. I was getting water on the driver's side floor board. Mine was coming from the seal being installed incorrectly just enough to cover the drain hole up on the driver's side causing the water to run down the inside of the back wall of the cab and then pooling in the floor board. Dealer replace rear window seal and no problems since.
