I power wash in between the cap and cab. Works good.

I got ice build up down in between the box and cab. The rattling drove me nuts, so I went through the back window of the truck and pulled it out. I could have gone through the cap window as well.

But, hey, if you insist on an umbilical cord between cap and cab, it's your truck!

I bought a used black Leer 100XL for my MGM. My only stipulation was the reinforced roof and rails. The Thule racks were a bonus. I was going to colour match, but once I put it on I thought it looked better than colour matched. I saved the paint job money for something else.

Powerwash doesn't work (well) at -25 degree C. Or at work. Or on the road.
Some might call me lazy, but I call it "low maintenance approach", I don't feel like cleaning in between there every time it snows. Umbilical it is! Long live umbilical.

yeah i guess i could save money on the pet screen never thought about that way , myself i have 2 Boxers and they are little shits that like the eat things and jump out of moving vehicles i had her in my bed tied up and she will jump out still so if i have my dogs in the bed I'm not highway driving its only if they come for trail riding so then I'm mostly likely driving 50km or less

i was thinking ill probably get a black cap for my silver truck but i would paint the fender flares black as well to make it somewhat match

I was quoted about 2 for an Outfitter from Range Rider. I was at Canopy west on the south side of Edmonton. I'm not really looking for anything too fancy yet, just something good for camping and possible for me to have a ladder rack around it. Still having issues with deciding whether it's worth it for a canopy. I might be able to swing a deal with Raven Truck due to my father's employer outfitting fleet trucks there. Any suggestions on a bed tent vs a canopy? If I go with a canopy I can probably build myself some storage. Mostly using it for hunting and fishing.

As far as I can tell, the nicer tents are very pricey. I personally went with a canopy, they are more functional, and more multi-purpose. If you are looking to save some cash, I imagine you will find a used canopy in good shape at low price before you will find the same in a tent or soft-topper. There are just more of those around.

I have the same canopy and it is leaking everywhere. I called my local dealer to get sorted and got the "too bad so sad" treatment. Emailed Century on Friday and haven't heard back...

Specifically on the sides from the rear end of the bed past the wheel wells. It's so much that it oversaturates the carpet lining and creates pools in the bed. It has Stock wheels with no offset so no extra splash.

And here it is! Had them only wire the 3rd brake light during the install so today I wired up the interior light, electronic locking door, and Pop & Lock on the tailgate.

How does everyone feel about utility caps and colour matching? Typically are the Aluminum caps less expensive?

Sorry to revive an older thread. I was wondering if many people have had Range Rider canopies?
I'm looking at trading my 2016 DCLB Sport MGM for an 18 DCLB in cement gray.
Ideally looking at an Apex model. Dealer quoted me right around $3500 for an Apex, colour matched, Yakima roof tracks, carpet interior and 70/30 crank out side windows. They also wanted nearly $400 for the fold down, sliding window. Hopefully I can successfully add one at a later time.

Ideally I wanted to find an ARE CX HD model (hoping mount a boat loader onto it for a 12'-14' aluminum boat) but the only place that even offered me a quote for one was $5500 + plus shipping from Truck outfitters in Edmonton.
