What's up guys, just wanted to show my new 2011 5 speed 2.7 liter Taco. Haven't had it very long, maybe about a month and a half now. Prior to this one I've had a 1997 Tacoma but sold it to my dad. Love the truck but sadly it doesn't quite run right. I can't figure out why and I actually came here for help. To begin with, since I got it, it's been in the shop more than I've even got to drive it. First off, the day after I got it, i discovered a hole in the fuel cell, had it replaced no issue. A couple days later, (I forgot to mention I drive 97 miles one way to work, mostly interstate), I was on my way home from work and noticed around 75-80 mph, the truck would start sputtering out and go into complete limp mode, and I'd have to pull over to the side of the road and not even turn it off but just sit there and take off again and it would be fine? Then it'll happen again after a couple minutes of driving. I've noticed it's only when it's right at 1/2 a tank or below. Putting around town here at home it only does this when it gets to 1/4 tank. Anyone ever have this issue? It's throwing a code for the catalytic converter and had a misfire a couple days ago. Let me know what you've got. Bare with me on my terrible explanation and all. 2011 2.7 liter 5 speed 4 wheel drive.
