Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
They took FOREVER to come in for me. I asked AAA about them when I reupped my registration and they told me the 8-12 weeks was more like 16 weeks at best. Took right about that long for the alert to come in for me.

Side note to any prospective buyers: GET THE PLATES AT AAA. So much easier for pick up rather than having to do the DMV shuffle.

If anyone is interested, I just received a rejection letter on 12-31 that is dated 12-7 (explains why I got refund check with no explanation preceding it).
According to the letter, apparently "SX88ONR" has within it, a reference to a gang affiliation. I had no idea. Thanks, thugs. So I guess I have to think up something else or just order the sequential ones just to get the black plates. I guess I better look at the bright side-they saved me from possibly getting shot up by whoever the rival gangs may be.

    Probably this:
1488 is a combination of two popular white supremacist numeric symbols. The first symbol is 14, which is shorthand for the "14 Words" slogan: "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children." The second is 88, which stands for "Heil Hitler" (H being the 8th letter of the alphabet). Together, the numbers form a general endorsement of white supremacy and its beliefs.

Well gee, there are a shit-ton of things with 88 in it, what about someone who has an '88 year vehicle? Funny thing is, I goggled "SX88ONR" and the very first bunch of sites that came up ALL pertained to my radio, the Hallicrafters SX-88, and absolutely NADA on anything gang-related. I don't know.
