I just left from work tonight and the low beam lights did not come on when I turned the switch. The high beams will come on when I move the stalk forward but the high beam blue indicator light does not come on either. I checked fuses for the lights, I have no idea what could cause this. Any help would be very appreciated. All other lights including brake lights work
    Thank you in advance!!

What happens when you push it back. High beams come on like normal?
    with or without DRL?

High beams work fine, just that when high beams are on the blue high beam indicator light is not lit up in instrument panel. I have been driving with high beams all over. I am thinking it might be the light switch stalk itself.

This truck does not have day time running lights. All other lights work, blinkers, flasher's, brakes....high beams. All work but low beams. Crazy.

Id dimmer switch or headlight switch. Unless both bulbs burnt out at same time.

Check the headlight relays. They will be under the hood in the main fuse box on the driver side.

There's only one relay for head lights. If the high beams work the relay is good.

Check bulbs. One low may have been out, and then the other may have blown.

UPDATE: Both low beam bulbs went out at the same time. My neighbor has a Tacoma the same year and we pulled one of his bulbs and put it in my truck. Low and high beams work along with the high beam blue indicator light on instrument panel. Thanks to everyone who gave input!

That's pretty unusual to have both at the same time. Glad you got it fixed. Your welcome happy to be of some help.

Great. Always do the easy stuff first. It almost always solves the problem.
