Copied/pasted from my craiglist ad. I'd prefer to deal with someone from this forum, and really hope it goes to another loving home. We have a carseat in our family now and it's just not as practical now as it was when we were just 2.

This is the Tacoma you've been looking for - it's been babied and meticulously maintained under my ownership (as the 2nd owner) over the past 8 years. I'm the guy that torques lug nuts only to spec and replaces crush washers with an OEM replacement at every oil change. This is one of the most mechanically sound 1st gen Tacomas you'll find. I've also meticulously documented every time it's been touched by a wrench in spreadsheet & pictures, along with all receipts, so you'll know exactly what you're getting. Forget haggling with a dealer - I'm happy to answer any questions and tell you everything I know about it. I won't entertain lowball offers. This is my second 1st gen Tacoma. I'm a 1st gen Tacoma enthusiast and I know what it's worth.

It's been garaged in recent years, and hasn't been a daily driver for the last 2+ years. I've only used Toyota filters (I'll throw in my extras with the sale.) It does have some very minor hail damage on the roof & hood, with some additional minor body damage on the driver's side of the hood. Its color does help minimize the visibility of that damage, though. It's lived in the Denver area its entire life and has the original (clean, rust free) frame. Among all the features you'd expect (cruise, CD, AC, power everything, etc. etc., all of which work just fine,) it has:

    3.4L V6
New timing belt @ 96,531 mi.
    Automatic transmission
    Raider camper shell w/headliner
Yakima roof rack w/2 bike mounts
    Toyota bedliner
3" Toytec suspension lift w/Bilstein 5100's all the way around (w/Toytec coilovers and Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs)
    Camburg upper control arms
    Cooper Zeon LTZ tires (265/75/R16)
    Rear diff lock
Gray wire mod (allows engaging the rear diff lock in any drive configuration - 2H, 4H, or 4L)
    Front diff drop
    Carrier bearing drop
Rear brake line extension for lift
Rear brake proportioning bracket for lift

I'll also include a pair of OME 2" lift Add A Leafs that I had in the OME leaf packs for a while.

This truck will take you nearly anywhere, and has been built up for getting deep into the Colorado woods. We've had some great times with it and genuinely hate to sell it, but we need more room for our growing family. Make it yours today!

Nice 1st gen, is it possible to get pictures of the damage mentioned on the hood and roof?

    Thanks

Thanks! I tried to capture the damage on the hood in the picture below, but I'm not sure how well you can see it. The hail damage truly is "minor" and is only apparent when you're looking for it. I'm not sure that still pictures capture any of this, so I'll try to upload a short video later today. All this damage is so minor that I've never found any reason to have it repaired. It's all very superficial.

I appreciate your reply. I'll upload later today as I have time.

I took a video with my phone today scanning the hood and the roof, but TW appears to restrict uploads of file extension .mov. If you'll shoot me a PM with your email address I'll share that file with you via other means. Thanks again!

Only if your truck includes a very specific brand new popup camper trailer, which is the whole point of getting rid of my truck. :)

I actually have considered moving from this to a DC, but we already have a tow vehicle in my wife's SUV, so I'm not really interested in a trade for this truck. I sincerely appreciate your consideration and offer, though.
