Right, but there is a different pattern from 05-08, 09-11, and 12-15.

So, there has to be some difference from 09-11 and 12-15 and it isn't seat air bags. My 2011 has seat air bags and I know someone with a 10 with them as well.

Why not just email the company and ask what the difference is and why they wont work with a different year? If you search for carhartt seat covers they specifically tell you there are air bag differences for different years.
