    @Box Rocket - Ever have any moisture creep into your airbox during heavy snow? I'm on the fence about going snorkel, or plumbing the intake into the cowl.

    No I don't. Quality snorkels like the Safari Snorkel are engineered to drive moisture to the outside of the inlet piece and drain it out before it ever makes it's way to the air box. My snorkel is from TMS and is a Safari clone (knockoff). It shares the same design and seems to do an effective job of it.

    I don't suggest routing the air intake directly to the cowl vents. The likelihood of water getting into the cowl and to your intake is much higher. There's a guy on Pirate4x4 that hydrolocked his motor in his driveway after a rainstorm. His intake was routed to his cowl.

    840 miles Dallas to Durango. No hiccups. Drove it up to Purgatory in the snow. Awesome. Just needs more hp.

    In other news, I got my Trail Tailor control arms installed today. Everything went pretty smooth. Only thing that took a little time was having to clearance the upper arm brackets since the new arms are larger.
    Looking forward to testing these things.
