I can't say that I love any of the aftermarket grilles (or the high price tag) that I've seen in this forum.

I have a have a neighbor who can laser cut and powder coat one for me for a couple hundred bucks. If I come up with a cool design, is there anyone who'd want to do a group buy to get the cost down a bit?

I'm sure you'd get interest once a design is made and fabricated.

    You're probably right :)

Are there folks out there who don't buy grilles because of the steep price? Is there a threshold where people are just turned off? For me, it's about $250-300... I can just live with a plastidipped grille.
