Muffler... go to a muffler shop and have them cut off your stock muffler and weld in place a new one. Then have them cut your stock exhaust pipe at the 45* down pipe after the rear axle. Boom off road exhaust like the big names sell for $600+ for about 150 bucks.

I recommend Magnaflow. Its dead silent at cruising speed, nice rumble at idle, and has decent sound at wide open throttle. As far as truck V6's go, its my favorite.

When you're old enough to buy your own beer it's time for a muffler that muffles the noise.

Wait, your neighbor owns an Indian? I thought slavery was abolished awhile back.

    Nobody said that.

I just said people with obnoxious unnecessarily loud vehicles make shitty neighbours. I'm not saying you need to go gab about communists. Loud mufflers just irritate me. It's no different than walking up and down a neighbourhood yelling as loud as you can at 2 in the morning and expect that you're not irritating the shit out of people. If you have a really nice car with an engine and exhaust that make a loud cool rumble.. great. Adding a muffler to a car to make it loud and obnoxious is just one of the things that strikes me as inconsiderate and douchey.

Now... having said that.... I'm talking about those really annoying, really loud exhausts on those little shitty cars. I'm sure OP is talking about something much more subtle and less obnoxious... I just got started off on a tangent about things that annoy me. My in-laws' FJ has a dealer upgraded performance exhaust and even that irritates me to drive in. Just a constant loud droning noise. I just don't see the appeal... but then at 33, I'm an old man.

Jesus, the dude wants an exhaust for his truck. He didn't say he wanted to install a jet turbine with exploding dynamite and screaming machine.

OP, the first two posts in this thread had some solid advice

Haha I know. I conceded at the end of the post that it was just me going off on a tangent and not the kind of stuff OP was talking about.

Where can I find the "jet turbine with exploding dynamite and screaming machine" muffler? I have a neighbor with an annoying yap-yap dog that I want gone.

A sawsall right after the headers will have a similar effect.
