Hey guys! I'm Lauren and my prized possession is my blue 2015 TRD Sport Taco. It's a Prerunner, so I've spent the last year on the fence about whether to trade in for 4WD or not. Photos to follow, I'm taking it for a winter drive next weekend and I'm sure Washington will have some spectacular backdrops haha things I want to do to my truck that I'm waffling around on include a 3" lift, LED light bar, new rims, window tinting, a tonneau cover, winch, rod rack, and a few other things to make it mine oh mine. Goals with the truck are some light to semi off-roading and plenty of snow-covered roads (fishing, hiking, and snowboarding are my favorite things to do outside). This is my first Tacoma and I'm hella glad there's such a huge forum to keep me informed. Great to be here and pardon any idiot questions I post. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the club Lauren!:thumbsup:I have a 2wd PreRunner and absolutely love it!:yes:I've had 4wd's in the past and times regret not buying a 4wd when i purchased my truck brand new back in 2012!I've offroaded in areas that 4wd's would of been a better option but my truck and driving ability conquered the terrain!:woot:I've considered a "Locker" when funds permit and i'd consider for yourself to do the same!Enjoy your Tacoma!

Ha, welcome. I'm not on TW that much but was searching today for 2WD offroading stuff. Every once in a while I wish I had 4WD but only to stop wondering, not because I've ever gotten stuck or had to turn around on a dirt road. PreRunners are awesomely capable.
