2017 Tacoma downshifts clunk/harsh v6 auto

Not sure if this has been covered, but sometimes and noticeably more when the truck is not running fully at operating temps but sometimes when i slow down to make a stop or slow down to make a left turn it feels like the truck is downshifting into 2nd gear, or 3rd gear not sure. but you can really feel it put stain on the tranny.

anyone else notice this? i only have about 350 miles total on my truck.

 

I had this happen a few times in the last two weeks. I started to noticed a slow grinding noise. Grinds about every 2-3 secs starting at about 35-40 and gets slightly faster at highway speeds.

I heard it click rally hard when it down shifted weird for the first time.

Strange.

 

Mine too has done this 400 miles on it

 

I've been dealing with issue for 26k miles... dealer couldn't replicate..

Mine does it. Usually only when cold in the morning from 2nd down to 1st
