Ok, I will try to be as succinct as possible with this question.

I want the brightness of the capacitive buttons on my 2017 Tacoma radio to be daytime bright when I have the headlights on. I prefer to drive with my headlights on and dash lights full during daytime driving. When I do this the truck assumes I am driving at night and turns the brightness of the capacitive buttons way down. I almost cant see them as they are so dim. Does anyone know a way to make the capacitive buttons bright while leaving your headlights on? I realize I can just run the DRLs during the day but then my dash light don't come on.

    Thanks,

I believe you turn the trip/odo knob to the right and it will brighten the dash display lights
