I have a superwinch, I have a superwinch because this is the 4th one I've owned and they have all been awesome and never let me down. I've never owned another brand and as long as they keep manufacturing them to the standard they do now or better I won't change it up.

The model I currently have. I've owned their more expensive options but really see no need. I'm also in the minority and prefer a steel cable over synthetic.

These work great and you can mount it under your hood they really loud also

 

yeah thats a PA speaker. I will probably end up getting one, I was referring to an external speaker for in the cab aside from the built in speaker in the cb itself.

 

You can get the same model but with a synthetic cable...

lol I didn't even see that. hm...I guess it's considered "waterproof" ?

 

Yes, the solenoid, and gear box are waterproof. I have mine remotely mounted under the hood in the engine bay.

 

cool thanks, I'll consider this one. I believe I have enough room in my bumper for all of it to fit.

 

I remotely mounted the solenoid and have all the parts needed to install a switch in the cab to control the winch. Just been lazy and haven't done it yet.
