    Im not sure if this will work of a "budget" lift but let me know of any other options.

    1999 Tacoma Ext cab 4x4

    This is a daily driver that sees no offroad time.

    Eibach Coils- 3" spacers- 3" AAL- http://www.suspensionconnection.com/cgi-bin/suscon/85250TA.html

    2" shackles- Longer shocks

    Price looking around $1K

    Are you trying to compensate for something?? Why lift it if you aren't going to do any off roading. It's your $$ to waste though :eek:

    Theres times to be on a budget, But you never skip on your suspention, If you want a lift cheap go with a 3" spacer lift.

    just want it to look good :D

    it was just a thought, but i figured it wouldnt work just wanted to get some input

    what about a 3" spacer w/ 5100s stock replacement coils and 3" AAL- 4" lift

    I would preload the 5100's at 2.5 as opposed to putting a 3 inch spacer in there. I'm not aware of a 3 in aal. If you lift the back that much don't forget to extend your brake lines though.

    Engage Offroad long travel front and rear with some fat tires.
    you're looking to lift the rear much more than the front...

    unless you want the truck to sit like a dragster...

    when lifting, if you want the truck to sit level, think 1.5 to 1 on a 1st gen...

    if you lift the front 3", you want to do the rear at 1.5" to 1.75"

    lifting the rear 3" would work if you lifting the front 5"

    wouldnt it be lifting the front about 4.25 (3" spacer and 1.25" setting on the bilstein 5100s) and the rear 3" aal from skyjacker #

    being that your truck is 4x4, if you lift more than 2.5'' your going to run into CV problems real quick. if you want 6'' you need a drop down bracket, but thats much more than $1000. other than that you'd have to get into a body lift, which is super phag.
    there is no budget 6'' lift.
