Had the carrier bearing and housing replaced, now Im getting a driveshaft vibration at 41-55 mph, I've read all the posts on this but most are on lifted trucks. I have stock suspension, suggestions on what to do? Take it back to the shop, try adding washers? Do carrier bearing/housing break in over time, Ive put on about 100 miles with no change in vibration. It's never had the dreaded driveshaft vibrations before. U joints were still good and not replaced. I checked the line they drew on the driveshaft prior to replacement and it looked to be lined up...

Check for axial alignment of the 2 sections of the driveshaft. There is some play in the CB mount and it can get misaligned. Tying a string between the zerks is a good way to align it - check one of the myriad driveshaft vibe threads for more info.

Lined them up with a string all look straight, all three zerks on same side. The new carrier housing is very tight, maybe 1/8 cm of play, the original yota housing had 2-3 inches
