On my 2002 Tacoma I had the rear driver side brake/running light out, so I replaced it and now both rear running lights are out, but both break lights work? This does not make sense, the bulb IS replaced has a double filament so I know there is power getting to the bulb?

    Help!

Since the passenger rear worked before hand, make sure you are putting the correct bulb in the correct plug the correct way. I wouldn't think that you could install them wrong, or backwards, but go back and check. It kind of sounds like the bulb is backwards. Look at the contacts closely so they match the plug.
